Well, that last post was kinda a doozy and took some wind outta my sails. I think I did more crying than typing. Anyhow. We're focusing on the positive now. Lets see what's happened. Forrest had an insurance conference down in Salt Lake about a week and a couple days ago now and I got to go with him. It was a lot of fun. I love to go to SLC whenever I have the chance. I don't know how to explain it, well, I do...but there's just a peace that I feel everytime I'm in that city. It makes me feel all mellow and calm inside. I love it, I love the hills that surround the valley, all the heritage that it's steeped in. It makes me want to step outside in the early morning air and just inhale. I know I'm sappy, what can I say. We got to stay in a Hilton Hotel it was nice. We were able to spend time with our dear, dear friends Byron and Molly Burkhart, we went and painted the town red. It was so awesome to see her again, I was reminded again all the fun and wonderful memories we share together that will always be a part of us. We also got to spend some time with our family...well, to us their family. We stayed overnight in Idaho Falls with the Fosburgs and ended up going on a date with them. We saw Date Night on a date night! LOL. Anyhow, I don't think I've laughed so hard in a movie in my entire life. Mary and I gripped arms in hysteria every now and then. It was so much fun to see them, I was hoping to suprise them, but Forrest would have none of that, he likes for people to be well informed we're coming. LOL. Then Mary and I went back to the old days of lets do something drastic with our hair and see what happens. She dyed hers BRIGHT red and I died my BLACK!!! Over all I think they both came out ok! and that little AJ. That kid LOVES me, well, the feeling is mutual. I really don't think that one day was nearly enough for me with them. Good thing I get my next fix in a couple weeks! weeeeeeeeeee! On the ride home from the conference we had a sick child in the car with us, that was an adventure, I think Forrest and I did some heavy duty praying that we would not fall victim to the flu virus. It payed off, thank heavens.
By the way, if anyone could help Forrest and I out we'd really appreciate it, he's just started with a company called Primerica. They just went public and are now traded on the stock exchange. The company has been in business since 1977, he could really use the word of mouth to get himself going. So if you know anyone that is looking for better rates on, life, auto or home insurance, we could use a shout out! He's trying to do this as another source of income for our family. We're really struggling right now and could use all the help that we can get!
