Wow

How did this happen so fast? How did I go from having a little boy, to having a little boy who's starting Kindergarten soon? How did I miss all this in between? It feels literally like yesterday that I was holding him as a tiny baby in my arms, fresh from heaven? I cry, and I cry. How did this happen so fast? I'm not ready for this. I'm not ready for him to leave me and go to school. I want my little boy to stay a LITTLE boy forever. I want him to remain, this sweet, this gentle, this loving. I don't want him to turn into someone I don't recognize from that sweet little boy. Who knew being a parent would be so hard and emotional. It reminds me of that stupid country song about, "It won't be like this for long." it's already going too fast! I don't want it to go too fast! I want to savor these years. I want them to last for a VERY long time. I want my babies to stay babies! I don't want friends who influence their attitudes for bad. I want them to stay this way. I realize this is total gibberish, but. I've got to get it out.

Hello,
yes, I know it's been almost a year. It seems facebook has become my online blog. A lot has happened. Lets see what I can do:

we aquired 3 apartment complexes and a house from Forrest's dad

registered Logan for Kindergarten (YIKES!!!)

Micah is talking so much better now!

Had our 10 year anniversary! (has it really been that long?)

We went to Europe (London, Scotland, Ireland and France) for our 10 year anniversary!

Found out we were PREGNANT!

Had a scare or two with the baby!

Everything is fine now!

I turned 31!

Just got back from a trip to Oregon to watch my nephew, Liam be born! That was a cool experience.


that's about all that's happened here. We should be able to find out what the baby is next month. Crossing my fingers for a girl, but....I'll take a boy too. I mean, why not? we already have all the clothes.... *rolls eyes*
