I was tagged by my beautiful friend Laura. Whom I love dearly, here it goes. I hope I can remember it all. It has been 7 years since we dated you know.
Lovebird Tag:
1. Where did you and your husband meet?
Well, we met in Singles Ward, in Spokane. I officially met him at FHE one night, when I was writing in my journal in my car, he came up to say hi and welcome me. I thought, who is this weird guy coming to welcome me? I've been here longer than him. I then had to leave because I had an errand to run or something. He later confessed he thought that I'd left because of him, that he hadn't fellowshipped me well enough or something. Hahaha.
2. First Thing said?
I don't remember the first thing we said to eachother, I do remember however sitting next to Mary in church and hearing that he was going to say the break the fast prayer. I leaned over to her and said, "Who in the WORLD would name their child Forrest Sherwood?" we both got a good giggle out of that one til he turned around and we discovered he was hot! Then the name didn't matter.
3. 1st Date?
The first official one without Mary (lol) was going to the Fair when it came into town. We rode the Ferris Wheel. I was really estatic when he held my hand. Like a giddy schoolgirl. It was a night of delirious happiness. No, he didn't kiss me....lol.
4. 1st Kiss?
If we're not talking on the lips, we were at FHE one night and he pulled a silly one on me. We were outside and he says, look at that star it's so pretty, and when I looked up, he kissed me on the cheek.
On the lips took a LOT longer. Cause he didn't want to make the realationship too physical too soon. It took him 3 months after we started dating to kiss me. I remember it was really cold outside and we were hugging, standing outside at my parents house, leaning against his dad's truck. He told me something funny, and concequently that was when he decided to kiss me. Therefore getting my teeth mostly. But, he then walked me to the door and leaned in for a kiss and after we broke apart, he stumbled a little backwards and said..."wow" on a sigh. Now THAT is the best compliment I've ever had.
5. Long/Short Courtship or engagement?
Met in July
Started Dating in September
Engaged on December 23rd (we're celebrating our engagement anniversary tomorrow)
Married March 9, 2001
So, yes, rather quickly? Compared to today's standards?
6. Where did you get engaged?
In front of the Spokane Temple, while it was snowing romantically huge flakes.
The setup:
We went to dinner at the Cedars restaurant in CDA. I got dressed up really pretty. Senior Prom dress. Spent all day curling my hair. We then went to a Christmas Concert in the cathedral downtown (cause anyone who knows me, know's I'm psycho about Christmas) Then we got into a discussion about how you could/couldn't feel the spirit in another religions place of worship. So, I said it would be nice to end the evening on a high note and take a walk around the temple. He says sounds good to me. Then I told him about how my family was taking bets on when he'd propose. He said let me know who wins. We get to the temple, he's fumbling around in the car, I ask what he's doing. He says looking for his gloves (lies! he was trying to get the ring box) and I said ok and moved to wait for him. (sneaky pete) We walk in the snow around the front of the temple and on the way back he stops infront of the gates and says, " I had a really great time tonight, there's only one thing that would make it better." I said (being the idiot that I am, not suspecting a thing) "What's that?" (thinking he wants a kiss) and he suddenly drops to a knee in the snow, in a nice suit and says "if you'd marry me." and I was in utter shock. I started giggling and saying ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh. More giggling. Then realize that he's waiting for an answer and I said "of course I will!"
*sigh, goes to get a kiss from the big lug*
7. Where'd you get married?
The Spokane Temple- March 9, 2001 12:00 PM
8. How'd the reception go?
Ask my poor wedding party, it was soooooo busy we were stuck in line for 3 hours. I didn't even get to dance with my husband.
9. Where'd you go on your honeymoon?
Well, our official one we went to Sandpoint...(we were poooor) the one we claim came a year later to Paris, France.
10. Who's turn is it next?
I'd like to hear from Renee!! http://vrpendergrass.blogspot.com/
I'm a Scentsy Consultant! Check out my Site!
There's a scent for everyone. I love Scentsy, it's safe for my kids to be around and I can leave it on when I'm not home! Plus, there's so many awesome scents I always have a hard time picking just one!

Second Update
Well, first off I have another progress report for you. I went to my Weight Watchers meeting last night, pretty sure I'd gained after the badness that I'd done for the past week. I lost 2.4 lbs!!!! Woot!!! Bringing my total meeting Weight Watchers loss to 9.6lbs in 1 1/2 months. Bringing my total weight loss to 21 lbs!!!! I'm loving this. Someone (I believe it was Renee the other day) remarked on how skinny my face has gotten. Yay!!!! Only 107lbs to go til I hit my ultimate goal. 16lbs til I hit my first small 10% goal.
Anyway,
new's on the medical homefront. I'm still having that pain in my side. So I went to the Dr. again, and they want me to go have an ultrasound of my galbladder to see if it's got stones or is thickening. I'm really hoping it will be my galbladder and not something worse than that. I don't know, I just kinda feel like I need to find out what's going on before we get pregnant again (right, like that'll happen soon....)
On the pregnancy front, I just started my first round of Clomid, (we've already been trying for just about a year) so we'll see how that goes.
Well, I'm going to clean up some glue that Logan spilled on our carpet, yeeeee haaaawwww!

OY.....
I think I need a vacation....again. Children...just...don't...listen. I just don't even know what to do anymore, I'm tired of being a bad mom. I'm tired of yelling, I'm tired of the screaming, whining and talking back. But hey, isn't that what children do best?
On another note, I just came back from Eric and Mary's house. I got to go to Eric's graduation, He graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. He's been offered a job in Idaho Falls, which they'll be taking. I'm really exicted for them, but at the same time; I mourn the loss of my best friend. No longer will she be only an hour away, she'll be 8 hours away. I liked it better the other way....
Well, back to being a screaming tyrant in my own home.

A Mormon President?
I just read an article about Mitt Romney. I'm a little troubled/annoyed, they'd done a poll on Yahoo about how people would feel about a "Mormon" president. Most said they didn't like the idea or were uncomfortable having a Mormon president. The thing that annoys me is, why should that annoy people? Why doesn't it annoy them to have a Catholic or Christian or Protestan, Lutherine or JW for president? How is having a "Mormon" president any different than the others? Maybe we should just be electing Pagan/Agnostic representatives? From what I recall they don't believe in God, then they'd all be happy? cause theres no religion at all involved? It just annoys me that people think mormons are so......terrible? I don't even know what. I just found those poll results annoying.

The good news and the bad news!
The bad news first. Not only did we have to put one pet down due to old age this year. Shortly after Annie, our adopted childhood playmate, Jake followed her just the other day. Jake was always a loving little boy. He was our Romeo. Whenever Annie got petted, Jake was there waiting with his nose on your lap for the next pet. He was a sweet quiet boy who like to be loved and give love. Always there with a ready tail wag and a nose under the gate to greet you when you came home. I'll miss him as much as I miss my Annie girl. I love you Jake, it's good to know that you're in doggie heaven, as much as you deserve to be.
The good news now. I've lost 8lbs in the last month, thanks to Weight Watchers. All this chalks up to a big 20lbs loss now! YAAAAAAYYYYY.
It gets even better though, I put on a pair of jeans yesterday that haven't fit in over a year, and they fit!!!! Albeit, they're a little tight, but they fit!
Only 100 more lbs to go.
Well, I'm off to the post office to stand in line with all the other crazy's I got more stuff to mail off. I have so much Christmas stuff to get ready this year! OY!

My Brave Daddy!
First off, Mute the music in the background just go to the bottom of the page and hit pause.
Well, hopefully this link works. My dad just got his new taser for work. BUT, before they could get their tasers, they all had to be tasered by it just once. My guess is so that they'll know not to use it in excessive force, cause they'll know what it feels like. They got to choose to have it for 1 second, 5 seconds or 10 seconds. I have no idea what he chose. My dad is a BIG man. For those of you who don't know. He's 6 foot 4 and atleast 210-220lbs. This is what happened to him. and, he....takes....it....like...a....man!!!
I'm so proud of my dad! Theres no way that I could do that. OUCH.

My First Progress Report Since High School
Well, I went to my first WW weigh-in meeting on Thursday, I was pretty sure I'd gained. The scale stopped and I unexpectedly yelled, HOLY CRAP!!! Really loud. I was so embarassed. My first acheivement is -4.4lbs in one week. I guess we'll see how I do this week, seeing as we've all been sick and I haven't been eating very well. This week also holds a dreaded Dr.s appt for me. I get to go in and talk to my girly dr. and see what tests they want to run on me. Then I'm sure I get to go get stabbed by a needle. *insert feeble yee-haw here*
I guess we'll see how it goes.

Calgon Take Me Away!
Well, I now understand my mother and her affinity for using this saying frequently when I was a child. I find that watching three kids under the age of two (two of whom, are entering the terrible twos early!) is making me mad as a hatter! Well, I am just taking a sanity break, Logan has been a good boy and decided to take a nap for me today. The other kids are at home with their parents today. I think they sensed my need for only one child today.
Well, I've started doing Weight Watchers with my mother in law. I started doing it myself a couple months ago. I lost 17lbs by myself. Then I kinda hopped a little off the wagon and only gained 5 lbs back, but I'm tired of buying fat pants. So, here we go! I guess we'll be seeing how I've done this week. This is my goal right here:

I would love to get back to my graduating high school weight. I know, I know, it's a big goal, but I have faith that someday I can get back there. My reasons are that I'd like to be healthy enough to run around and play with my kids. I'd love to look hot for my husband....Meow! (Little moment here to think how that could be....hehehehehe) Anyway. I miss how pretty I used to be, I realized that I didn't think I was pretty back then, nor did I think I was skinny. But I realize now....what's that saying about hindsight?
But I realize that as I look back now, I was pretty and I was skinny. Pardon me but, DAMN this sucks! I wanna be that girl again. I guess that I could use all the support and help I can get. I know I can do this, I look at a girl in our ward, whom I am friends with. She started going to Weight Watchers, the same starting weight range that I'm in. She's lost 100.4lbs!!!! She is my inspiration. She's gone from a size 18 dress to a size 8!!!!! If she can do this...I can do this.
I can't wait to shop in the normal people stuff again!!!

The Everyday Rustics
Wow. I was just thinking about Everafter. Renee and I had a movie night on Monday and we watched Everafter. I love that movie. I am coming to realize though, that there are some parts in there that are kind of cheesy. But, who am I to talk, Princess Bride is my favorite movie. Well, I figured that I better update my blog, seeing as how I don't do it that often. I don't think that anyone even reads this darn thing. Oh well. I have a little boy sitting on my lap, needing some "mommy love" while he's sucking on a PINK binky. What a nerd. Well I finished one of my baby blankets and I only have 2 more to go. Ummm. I'm currently watching my first auction on ebay to see if I can win. Kinda hoping that I don't cause I think I got a little carried away with the bidding. I had momentary, beat them!!!! Maybe she'll sneak in at the last minute, otherwise I"m going to have to transfer a little money. Anyway, onto the more serious stuff in life. I haven't found out anything on the PCOS front. Other than what the dr.'s office came back with. It's possible I could have pcos without the cysts. Which I get to go get tested for sometime next month. Oh Joy. I've also been feeling a little dizzy for a couple weeks. Not so bad lately. Maybe it's finally going away. So, I get to have a bunch of blood drawn. Another Oh Joy. But, since I"m now looking on the brighter side of things. Atleast they'll hopefully get to figure out what's wrong with me. I hope to be pregnant again some time soon. I'm one of those sick people who loves being pregnant. The whole thing. Forrest is currently doing some remodeling to our house. He got a bargain price on some really awesome doors. Solid wood 6 panel. They're pretty. It just seems like we're always busy. Well, that's about all I got today. Luv, Peace and Chicken Grease people.

Lots of Busy Work
Well, I don't have much to post today. I have a lot of stuff to do. I have to make a couple blankets still. I'm almost finished with the crocheted one. I'm working on one for Saturday for a couple that we know that's getting their first child in November. I'm also working on some jewelry for a craft show on Saturday, my house is a mess and I just feel like I'm in disarray. Forrest and I talked last night and I realized that I really need to look for the good things in life and stop worrying so much about everything negative that could happen. Or I'll never get to enjoy my life while I'm living it. Something I really need to work on.

Favorite Music
Well, I don't have much to talk about today. I've got this dang Nickleback Rockstar song stuck in my head. I heard it like 2 days ago, and I can't get it out of there. Not that I'm complaining. It's a freakin groovy song! I'm currently listening to Forrest and I's song. Barry White "Can't get enough of your love baby." and it makes me grin from ear to ear. It's not even our song in the conventional we had our first kiss to the song. It's more of a "He caught me dancing to it in the kitchen when we were dating and I was mortified. So there for it's now our song." kind of a thing. But it makes us think of eachother and how much we love eachother none the less. Well. I guess I better give you all the low down on the dr. appt. Well, they did the ultrasound and I had to wait 2 days to get the stupid results. So when I finally got them, they said that I don't have PCOS, they said that I had had a simple cyst however and that no further testing was needed. But when I had gone into the dr.s office, he said that if it didn't show up as PCOS then they would look at the pain in my side being an ulcer on my gall bladder or in my stomach. So, I called them back to see if they needed to see me again. The dr said that they'd diagnosed a woman earlier in the day with "PCOS without the cysts" which is what Mary had been diagnosed with. He wanted me to keep my appointment with my ob/gyn, but I'd already had "the girly visit" earlier in the year so I didn't have an appointment. I asked if maybe I should keep charting to see if I ovulate (sorry, peeps, I know it's TMI. Just deal) and if I don't, to make an appt. and he says yes, to have them run some hormone tests (blood tests, ick.) and see what's going on. Cause apparently I have all the tell tale signs for having it. Blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, so, I'm taking on another child to watch during the day, some would say I"m crazy, I say; we need the money. We had them over Friday to get them aclimated to eachother and they were lots of fun. The little girl is just adorable. I guess we'll see how it goes, I am after all the oldest of 5 and I did babysit a lot of kids in my life. So, we'll see.

Busy Week...
Well, this week looks like it's going to be busy one. I've got FHE and Visiting Teaching on Monday. Tuesday I have an ultrasound. No, dear friends I'm not pregnant. I have to go into have one so they can check if I have PCOS, which for those of you who don't know what it is. Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. it's the most common form of infertility in women. Luckily, it's treatable. Hopefully, If it's something to hope for rather than being something else terribly wrong. I hope that it's that, cause it's treatable. I'm rather nervous as usual with my "white coat syndrome" about going in. The doctor says if it's not that then they'll look to see if I have an ulcer or something on my Gall bladder. Can we all say....yeeeeeeeee haaaaaawww. Wednesday and Thursday will be my catching up on baby blanket days. Friday wow, I guess I have 3 days to work on bb blankets. Saturday we have a Relief Society broadcast, and a baby shower for Alayna. Sunday, dreaded Sunday. Forrest and I get to speak in church...on the Healing Power of Fogiveness. Cross your fingers that we do all right, well, It's me that I'm worried about doing all right. I know Forrest will do all right. He's not scared of anything. I guess I should try to be more like that. I'm sure it would make my life a little easier.

Yay For Fall!!!!
I can't believe it's already almost here. Fall and winter are probably my favorite seasons. I just love the nostalgia that comes with them. I remember the raking of the leaves and then jumping into the pile when I was younger. We used to take turns burying one another in the leaves. Winter as many of you know is my absolute favorite, for the fact that it snows and that Christmas is that time of year. I love the celebration of our Saviors birth. I love that you just feel like you want to spend more quality time with your family. I love that it's the seasons where lots of life's funnest memories are made. Once fall hits, I start to feel rather crafty. As evident by my works in progress right now. I've got 3 baby blankets (crocheted), 3 quilts and several scarves going. I'm also getting the itch to bake! Boy, do I sound like Holly Homemaker or what? I just love it, love it, love it.
On a different note, I'm looking with much trepidation at tomorrow. I have a Dr. appt for a pain that I've been having in my ribs and abdomen for a while. I'm afraid (as usual) what the dr. might say. I have what my mother fondly calls "White Coat Syndrome" as in, I'm terrified of going to the dr. I'm terrified of something being terrrrrribly wrong with me. I'm a hypochondriac and I know it, it's one of those things I'm constantly working on in my life. Thankfully Renee is going with me to hold my hand. .... hehee heeheee

A Dear Companion

Today's blog comes as a tribute and at a dear price of a beloved childhood companion. This morning saw us saying goodbye to our childhood play mate. A stalwart companion and a beautiful redheaded girl. We found her in a big cardboard box in our laundry room one afternoon after school when we were but children. Little did we imagine the joy and happiness her companionship would bring to our lives. I Love my Annie Girl. She used to greet us with her nose under the gate when we came home from school or just came home in general. Her tail always had a ready wag and a wet kiss for us in greeting. She used to sleep right next to us when we'd "Camp" out in the backyard and protect us from the imaginary evils of the night, whether they be cats or bugs. You'd wake up sharing your pillow with her. She used to love eating apples and pears off the fruit trees and she's been known to dig up produce out of the garden. She loved to eat bubbles and bees. She loved taking walks up the road or down to the river for a swim. She loved to play with Jake. She loved being brushed out. So, it is with a heavy heart and more than an eyeful of tears that I say,
Goodbye and I love you my sweet, Annie Mae. You were a wonderful companion, who's company shall be greatly missed, I'll miss your nose under the gate; and your ever wagging tail. I'm glad my son got to meet you and that he loved you. Thank you for loving him with your big sloppy kisses. Jakey will miss his buddy. I love you Annie Girl...goodbye.

Still Haunted!
Man, I don't know what it is about the ending of the Harry Potter series that is just haunting me so. I'm so sad that it's over. I liken it to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I was sad when that was over too. I don't understand it. But, oh well. I guess I can dwell on it for a couple of days. I found the ending of it nice, but at the same time a little saddening. For those of you who haven't read it I say.....HURRY UP so I can talk about it. Other than that all is well with us. We're still in the process of adding on to our house, I wish the staircase would hurry up and get done so that I can paint already! I'm currently working on 4 quilts and 3 crochetted baby blankets. What more could you ask for? Another project maybe. Well, that's all I have for now my peeps. Love to you all.

The End.....
Wow, I just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at 2:45 A.M. It's now almost eight ( I got up at 7:30) and I find that the sacrifice of my sleep was well worth the read. I feel as though now that I've read it and the books are finished, that a little tiny peice of me has died there in Hogwarts. I must confess, I'm not a crier, but this book saw me sobbing like a little child in several places. I'm suprised that I didn't wake my husband with those tears. If you are reading this book now I CAUTION you not to read the Epilogue, or the book will be spoiled for you! I myself resisted the temptation once or twice. I must also confess, it was sort of confusing, this book. Several places had me scratching my head, while others had me silently screaming.....NO!!!!!!!!!! in my heart. Wow, wow....I'm at an utter loss.....

Wonder if anyone reads....
Wow. It's been a while since my last blog update. I've been having problems accessing my account. I don't know why, I've tried every password known to man to get into it, but with no success. Good thing I had a page bookmarked that already had the password done on it.
Anyway, well, I've been trying to keep up our house as well as get the garden weeded. But with two boys (mine and Renee's ) to look after during the day, my life gets a little out of control. I managed to get the whole garden weeded yesterday in the hot summer heat, boy was that fun.
I'm trying to start my own company kind of thing so that I can work from home. I don't know what to do to make it more profitable. I make jewelry and candles, my jewelry is being sold in a local boutique, it's doing all right, but not as well as I'd like it too. Anyone got any suggestions? Hopefully in September I'll be going to a craft fair with Karen and JoAnn and make some good money then. Lets all keep our fingers crossed shall we?
Well, also since the last entry, Laura has gotten engaged (see I told you so) and she is scheduled to marry Mr. Garth Bradley Plouzek next week!!!! I can't believe it's that close already, I bet she can't either! I'm really excited for her and can't wait to go to the wedding, which reminds me I need to get something done before then or I won't be able to go! He's so her type it's scary. Well, I suppose this is enough ranting for now.

I Remember that "Feeling"....
Was it that long ago already? When I found the man of my dreams? I seem to remember the feelings that I had at the time. I've recently read my friend Laura's blog (www.smilinglaura.com/blog) and it makes me nostalgic. I cherish reading her thoughts as she's so far away from me. I love her so much and I miss seeing her and having our ritual night. I miss the quirks and sillyness of our time together. I'm sad she's in Cali, but psyched that she now has 1 REALLY good reason for being there. Hearing her talk about Garth (hee hee) reminds me of talking to her about the way I felt about Forrest. I remember being so excited to hear his voice on the other end of the phone. The giddiness I felt when he'd come and see me or we'd hang out. The feelings that I'd get when he looked at me from across the room, or just when he simply smiled at me. It was happiness. True and unfettered happiness. I miss the newness of these feelings, from the fledgling infatuation. Although, when these feelings mature and grow into love, they far surpass the "new" feelings and grow to a love that is welded deep into your being. When you live your life for the other person, that's how you know it's love. As, I watch (or read rather) these feelings grow with Laura I reminisce back to those days and it makes me love my husband even more. I'm sure she's beginning to suspect the feelings of love, it's a slow process of realization, but once it's there, there's no denying it. I have so much running through my head and don't know how to express it all. Though it's just my humble opinion, I think he's her other half. I'm glad Brian is hasta la vista, Garth is her lobster, her penguin if you will. Back to the feelings. I love remembering those feelings I had for my husband (I still have them, yes, only better!!) when we were dating. They were the best drug, they make you sappy, dopey and gooey and they only get better. When you add your first child and subsequent children to the mix, it's even better. Someone in a movie once said about children; "It's like having a piece of your heart walking around outside of your body." I have never forgotten that and I treasure just how true it is. I can't imagine my life without Logan. *great, I'm crying....sigh* he's my little redheaded ray of sunshine. One that I get to watch grow into a fine man someday. I cherish his little personality, his smile, his love. I love looking at him and knowing, I made him. I made half of this little being, and he's a walking, talking, laughing testament of the love that grows between two people. I look forward to many more little testaments of our love for eachother.

Random thoughts on a Sunday
Well, I just wanted to post some random thoughts today. It being Sunday. I just got back from church. You just never know how much you really need some Spiritual filling until you get to church and realize that your glass has been emptied during the week. I just love going to church and feeling of the Spirit that is so prevalent there. I try so hard sometimes not to cry like a big baby, cause that's what I do when I feel moved by the Spirit. I came home today and wanted to listen to a couple of my favorite hymns. I found www.lds.org/churchmusic where I can listen to them. I made the mistake of listening to my favorite song in the whole world. "We'll bring the World his Truth." I had Logan sitting on my lap, suddenly envisioned him singing this with group of his fellow missionaries; and burst into tears. *trying not to again!* I'm just so thankful to have been born into a family where I was brought up in the Church. I'm grateful to have such a BIG and wonderful family. I love you all!

The Quilts
Ok, so Here's the quilts I made for Christmas. Here's my reasoning behind them. Forrest's favorite color is blue. So his is blue. Kimberlee's favorite color is Yellow. Jason loves snowboarding, so his has snow and a snowboarder, the white is a diagonal stripe across the quilt. Mom's favorite color is Red, so her's fades from dark into light in a diamond shape. Bryce LOVES fishing, so his is a rich autumn colored quilt with a plaid and olive green fishes, trout and such. Chad's was by FAR, the hardest. He just came home from a mission to Toronto Canada, I couldn't find Canadian fabric anywhere. So his is plain red and white squares of fabric, with 72 hand painted maple leaves. Dad's is all diagonals green, yellow and blue stars with old WW looking airplanes. Because he loved the airplane museum he went to this summer with his brothers on the family reunion. Voila~!
Holy Smokes!
I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted. Well, a lot has happened since OCTOBER!!! Let's see, I guess I'll start from there. Thanksgiving was awesome. We had a small one, since Chad was coming home from his mission in December. It was nice to have Jason there though. It's nice to see him every now and then. It was hard having him living in Utah. I hate that now, since our family is grown, every one moves away. It's sad. Anyway, It's nice to have family around. December found Chad coming home to a nephew he's never met before. I was anxious to see how Logan would react to an uncle he didn't know. Luckily, he took right to Chad (I suspect because he looks like his Uncle Bryce) and has loved him ever since. Jason...on the other hand, he cries every time Jason comes near him. December also found our family with a divorce and a new marriage. Our dear Uncle Dave and Aunt Michelle called it quits. I will always love her and she will always be a part of my life as my aunt, whether she is married to him or not. David also got married again right before Christmas, to an aunt whom I have not yet had the privelage (sp) of meeting. Her name is Kathy and I hear she has 2 girls. Christmas was a little hectic, as I alluded to in I believe my last post. I was in the process of making 9 full sized quilts before Christmas. I started this daring project shortly after we got home from our family reunion in August. I completed Forrest's first and then decided that I wanted to make one for each member of my family, Including Brittany and Ashlee who are away at college. I wanted it to be something special for them. Something that they could look to when they needed comfort, when feeling homesick. I sent out squares to all our family and had them put words of encouragement and love on them and mail them back. They turned out wonderfully. So, I was a little crazed at the end, but with the help of my family (Thanks Mom, Andry, Madisyn and Kimberlee) I got them done the Friday before Christmas. That, coupled with trying to get out our Christmas letters and getting stuff done for Logan's first birthday...I tell you, It's a wonder I didn't take to drinking. Logan's 1st birthday was the 5th of January. I cannot believe it's been that long already. Oy. well, That's about it.
Love to you all.
Love to you all.
